Event Details

The wedding is a garden and riverside event therefore completely outdoors, without access to the house. Personal belongings will either have to be left in the car or in the marquee. Luxury toilets will be available for use, they will have baby changing facilities. There is plenty of space for everyone come evening, as we will be able to use the rest of the garden.

The size of the garden has determined how many seats we can fit into the marquee, we would have loved to invite everyone to the ceremony but cannot. Everyone is invited to the evening reception, evening guests will receive an invite in due course.

Parking

This is the best place to park and has ample space. It is a short 5 min walk. Ladies, bring your flat shoes.

East Farleigh train station car park – FREE parking
ME16 9NB, Just before the level crossing
There is space for approximately 20 cars.

No parking is available closer to the house.

Notices:

  • There is no access to the house.
  • The wedding is outdoors in a marquee and garden.
  • There is no cloak room.
  • Parents will be responsible for ensuring their children’s safety regarding the river.
  • Due to limited space, children who are not in parent’s laps (i.e. age 0-1) attending the Wedding Breakfast will have a separate children’s area with children’s menu SEPARATE from the marquee, so they will be separated from parents. There will be childcare provided for the hours in which parents are inside the marquee.
  • There will be a baby bottle warming facility. But no room for buggies.
  • Any questions on the day, the go- to person is NOT the Bride! Ask for Kelly Kealey, one of the bridesmaids, groomsmen or ushers.
  • Respect the neighbours and residential parking – follow the guidance as detailed on the day.
  • The entrance to the Garden will not be through the front door of the house, there is a separate direct entrance

Notices for ladies wearing heels:

  • The event is outdoors (apart from the marquee which will have a hard floor and carpet) so there is a large grass area.
  • If you are wearing heels there is a way to stop your heels sinking into the grass. Check this site http://www.cleanheels.co.uk and then go find them cheaper on ebay :-0
  • And remember – bring your flat shoes so you can dance the night away!
